Romney Homestretch Game Plan: Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

His convention is behind him and now Mitt Romney enters the campaign stretch with a goal of convincing Americans disappointed with President Barack Obama that the Democrat is to blame for a stagnant economy - and that only he can fix it.

Accepting the Republican nomination on Thursday night, Romney said there's something wrong with the job Obama's done as president when the best feeling voters had was the day they voted for him.

That's the beginning of a closing argument Romney aides say will be focused on jobs. Between now and Nov. 6, as the GOP challenger is looking to woo voters who put their faith into Obama four years ago but have soured on him with unemployment stuck at 8.3 percent and the economy sputtering.
