Thursday was one of the hottest days at the State Fair. Fair officials took steps to help everyone on two legs or four deal with the heat.
For the livestock, barn temperatures were closely monitored. Veterinarians watched the animals and made sure they all had water.
There are more than 5,000 animals at the State Fair.
