Email7 Hospitalized Following Deck Collapse in Forest Lake

Investigators with Forest Lake Police say a deck collapsed just before 8 p.m. Saturday. But the people at the home downplayed the seriousness of the incident to a 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew on the scene.
Several law enforcement agencies, including Forest Lake Police, Washington County Sheriff's Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Forest Lake Fire, North Ambulance, and Lakes Regions Ambulance responded to the 18000 block of Harrow Avenue North.
Investigators say the collapse happened while a group of 27 people was posing for a picture on a deck that was 12 feet high.
Forest Lake police say one patient was flown to the hospital by North Air Care and several others were transported by ground.
The extent of their injuries isn't known.
Our camera wasn't allowed on the property to shoot video of the damage to the deck.
