People of many different faiths gathered at the Sikh Temple to pay respects for those murdered in Wisconsin last week.
Police say 40-year-old Wade Michael Page killed himself, but not before he murdered six members of the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
Friday night's candlelight village at the Bloomington Sikh Temple drew people of Muslim, Jewish, Christian and Hindu faiths.
They started the night with prayers and hymns and a few speeches from leaders of the Sikh Temple. The common message was we are all in this together and must stand together for religious freedom and tolerance in America.
After the vigil, there was an inter-faith dinner and discussion about keeping lines of communication open and a common message to open all faiths to everyone for a better human understanding of different cultures and faiths.
More than 500 people turned out for the vigil.
