Medical Examiner Rules Death of MN Friends- Homicide, Suicide

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner ruled the deaths of two friends, who died about a mile apart in St. Paul, a homicide and a suicide.

According to authorities, 21-year-old Jordan Hughes was shot in the Summit- University Avenue area on July 24. His death was death was determined to be a homicide.

Hughes' friend, 22-year-old Mandela Jackson was found dead about nine hours later in the Frogtown area.

His death was ruled a suicide.

The Star Tribune reports authorities are still investigating whether Jackson was responsible for Hughes' death.
