EmailKill: U of M Open to Taking Penn State Players
Gopher football coach Jerry Kill said he is open to taking players from Penn State University, but only if they player contacts the University of Minnesota first.
Kill made the announcement yesterday during the Big Ten Media Day.
The Pioneer Press reports the head coaches at Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan, and Ohio State won’t take Penn State players.
More than 30 Penn State players have said they’ll stay with their program. The NCAA is allowing them to switch schools due to the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal penalties.
