The Wisconsin State Patrol said none of the five people inside a car was wearing a seatbelt when it rolled over.

Four children were ejected.  A two-year-old was killed.

The crash happened Monday afternoon near Washburn in Bayfield County.

A spokesperson for the State Patrol said the car was headed southbound on State Highway 13 when it "entered the ditch and overturned ejecting all four passengers."

The four passengers, all children, were airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Two-year-old Mariah Gordon of Bayfield died at the hospital.

Four-year-old Myley Gordon and six-year-old Carter Gordon, both from Washburn, Wisconsin, and 15-year-old Erica Gonzalez of Bayfield are all listed by the State Patrol as suffering life-threatening injuries.

The spokesperson said the driver of the car, 23-year-old Chelsea Nicole Cadotte's injuries were "non-life threatening."

KSTP.COM checked Wisconsin Court records.  In June, Cadotte was convicted of Operating While Suspended.  On July 10, she was convicted of Violation of Child Safety Restraint Requirements - Child 4 Years but less Than 8 Years of Age.
