A public hearing on New York City’s proposed ban on big, sugary drinks is a week away. Coke, Pepsi, and other companies are launching their own campaigns against Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s plan.
USA Today is reporting soft drink makers are going big, with movie marquee ads, airplane banners, and radio commercials.
Bloomberg announced the plan in May to combat obesity.
