EmailPolice: St. Cloud Homeowner Attacked by Traveling Salesmen
Two traveling magazine salesmen are in the Stearns County Jail on allegations they attacked a St. Cloud man who refused to buy their product.
St. Cloud police say the incident happened Friday night at a home in the 300 block of 17th Avenue North.
According to police, a 29-year-old homeowner had refused to buy magazines from two salesmen at his home when the pair allegedly kicked in the door and attacked him. Neighbors heard yelling inside the home, and people at the scene managed to restrain the suspects until police arrived.
The homeowner received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
The salesmen, a 21-year-old from Iowa and an 18-year-old from California, are being held in the Stearns County Jail on first degree burglary charges.
