JCPenney to Lay Off 350 Employees at Headquarters
JCPenney is laying off 350 employees at its headquarters in Plano, Texas.
The layoffs are primarily in the finance, technology, and product development departments. The move comes as the department store chain struggles with a transformation.
This latest round of layoffs means it has slashed its total workforce at its headquarters nearly 30 percent since spring. It’s now down to 3,100 employees.
