A dishonorable act at a veterans’ cemetery turned up an unusual criminal.
Last week, 35 American flags were stolen from Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson, N.Y. Veterans replaced the flags, and the next day, 17 more were stolen.
Police installed cameras to catch the thief, and it turns out a woodchuck was to blame.
They found the woodchuck munching on the flag, and they found the remains of the flags in a hole in the ground.
