SAFETY SENSE: Bill Passes Committee Despite Opposition

A 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS investigation already showed how Minnesota is spending some of its homeland security money.

On Wednesday, a bill introduced after our investigation that would lay the groundwork for state funding of the Minnesota Joint Analysis Center, known as MNJAC, passed a Legislative committee, but not before running into opposition from privacy advocates.
