Ex-Pastor Found Guilty of Murdering North High Staffer
A jury has convicted a Minneapolis man in the murder of a popular employee at North High School.
Forty-one-year-old Derrick Griffin was found guilty of first degree premeditated murder Friday. Griffin, a former associate pastor, was accused of killing 27-year-old Kristopher Miller, who worked on the support staff at North High.
Miller, who had been romantically involved with Griffin's estranged wife, was found dead outside his home in the 1100 block of Irving Avenue North on May 11.
Griffin was also found guilty of murder in the first degree while committing a drive-by shooting.
A sentencing date has not been set.
