Golfers Tee Off in New Prague for Jack Jablonski

With record-breaking temperatures in the forecast, 150 golfers hit the greens at Creeks Bend Golf Course in New Prague Tuesday morning. TwinCitiesGolf.com hosted the sold-out event in honor of paralyzed hockey player Jack Jablonski.
Half of the proceeds and all of the money raised during a silent auction during the tournament will go to Jablonski's fund. The event raised about $2000.
The event was planned on Sunday and within 24 hours all tickets were sold. More than 100 people were turned away.
Many golfers wore red and white, Jablonski's school colors, and stickers with his number, 13.
"It hits close to home, a lot of us either grew up playing hockey or we have kids playing hockey, and I think as a community, this creates an opportunity for us to bond together and really create a miracle," said Kevin Unterreiner with TwinCitiesGolf.com.
You can donate to Jablonski's fund at www.jabby13.com.
