Changes on the Way for Taste of MN
The Taste of Minnesota is going on this weekend under new ownership, and those new owners say this is a transition year.
In the future, they say you can expect to see more musical acts, venues and restaurants participating.
Ron Maddox co-founded the event 27 years ago. He says he first got the idea after visiting Taste of Chicago in 1980.
Since the beginning of Taste of Minnesota, Maddox has called all the shots. Now, however, he says his contract is winding down and he does not know what the new owners have in store for his future.
Maddox says
the new owners still plan to call on him for his expertise during the next two years.
