Metro Salesman Accused of Punching Competition in Face
A door-to-door security salesman was arrested Thursday after police say he punched one of his competitors in the face.
Jeffery Jacobsen, 28, faces third-degree assault charges for the attack on June 18.
Police say the Bloomington man hit a competing salesperson while they were working the same area on 39th Avenue, just north of Robbinsdale.
The victim says he was selling security systems when Jacobsen pulled up, yelled at him, then pushed him to the ground.
If convicted, Jacobsen faces five years in prison.
