Eagan Man Sentenced for Stealing $165K From Employer
An Eagan man will serve eight years in prison for stealing from his employer for the second time.
Michael Ray Sauve admitted to stealing more than $165,000 from Bankers Mortgage in Burnsville between 2003 and 2008.
Sauve pleaded guilty to four counts of theft and one count of theft by swindle on Thursday.
The Dakota County attorney says Sauve didn’t learn his lesson the first time—and was convicted in 2001 for stealing more than $100,000 from his previous employer.
