 A man is dead after being hit and killed by a train in St. Paul Saturday night, according to police.
Union Pacific officials called police around 10:30 p.m. to notify them that a man had been ran over near Phalen Boulevard and Pane Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
Police said the man, identified as 33-year-old Jahaia Parks of St. Paul, had either passed out or fallen asleep on the tracks, but they’re not sure the man ended up near the tracks as the area is surrounded by two fences.
Authorities told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS they don’t suspect foul play.
