The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on Highway 10 in Arden Hills that involved four vehicles and killed one person.
Authorities identify the victim as 64-year-old David Eisen of Princeton, Minnesota. He was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Eisen was wearing his seat belt.
The seven other people involved in the crash were not injured.
All four vehicles were driving westbound on Highway 10 just south of County Road 96, when they crashed just after 4:30 p.m. Friday. The State Patrol says the vehicle Eisen was driving, along with two other vehicles, were stopped in traffic. A third vehicle was driving at freeway speeds and crashed into the back of Eisen's car, causing a chain reaction.
A stretch of westbound Highway 10 in the area of the crash was shut down while crews cleared the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
