The Anoka-Hennepin School Board is expected to start discussing recommendations of the District's Anti-Bullying/Harassment Task Force sometime, in the near future.
The School Board has a workshop Monday night, but a School District spokesperson contacted us to inform us the Task Force recommendations will not be discussed Monday night. There is one recommendation that could attract a lot of debate at some point; the recommendation suggests creating something similar to an LGBT History Month starting in October 2014.
Get more information on the Anoka-Hennepin Anti-Bullying/Anti-Harassment Task Force here. There is a possibility there might be some discussion of the Task Force recommendations at the regular School Board meeting later this month. And, there is a possibility the recommendations could be sent back to the Task Force, for further discussion.
