Buffalo Man Seriously Injured after Pickup Goes Airborne into Ditch

A 20-year-old Buffalo man was seriously injured after his car went airborne and then into a ditch in western Minnesota early Saturday morning.

The incident happened on Highway 28 at Golf Course Road in Pope County around 1:30 a.m.

Anthony Neumann was driving a Ford pickup truck on the highway when it hit the approach for Golf Course Road. The pickup went airborne before coming to a stop in a ditch on the north side of Hwy. 28, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Neumann was taken to Glacial Ridge Health System in Glenwood with serious injuries, the state patrol says.

The state patrol was assisted by the Glenwood Police Department and the Pope County Sheriff's Office.
