Mobile Pro Systems, a company based in West Saint Paul, produces mobile trailer units police can use to remotely monitor multiple locations from anywhere in the country.

The trailers are powered by generators, solar, and wind power.

Almost any type of technology can then be mounted to the tops of 30-foot masts on the trailers, including surveillance cameras.

The company's technology is being used by the New Jersey State Police in charge of security at the Super Bowl.

New Jersey State Police are using 20 Mobile Pro Systems units outside MetLife Stadium, nearby parking lots, and area hotels.

The technology enables police to monitor multiple locations simultaneously and from afar. The units can also be equipped with microphones so if police see something starting to happen, they can actually warn a criminal suspect in the act.

The units have been placed in high crime areas in Minneapolis to reduce crime.
