About two dozen clergy and staff members of Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners in Plymouth will be sleeping outside overnight in tents to raise money for those in need.

The sleep out is part of a two month campaign. Their goal is to raise $2.6 million, and so far they've raised about $1 million.

The organization helps nearly 1,800 families, that's 5,000 people, in the west metro each year. They help with everything from food, and clothing to housing and employment.

There is also a resale store where the public can shop. The store, Resale 101, is having special holiday hours tonight, they will be open from 8 p.m. until midnight. At midnight the doors close, and clergy and staff will head outside until about 6 a.m.

Temperatures in Plymouth are expected to drop to -6 overnight. Clergy members picked this night several months ago, little did they know it would be one of the coldest nights of the year!

If you'd like to donate, you can do so on their website.
