One of the three children who survived after the car they were riding in went into a retention pond last month is out of the hospital.
On Tuesday, a family spokesperson tells KSTP that 5-year-old Amani Coleman-Guerrido is home from the hospital.
His mother was driving the car when she over-corrected on a curve and went into the water at the interchange of Highways 7 and 100 in St. Louis Park back on Nov. 21.
Two children died and two remain in the hospital. They continue to make good progress in their recovery, doctors say.
The 1-year-old is expected to go home in the next week.
The mother, Marian Guerrido, escaped the sunken car without injury.
