13 Ejected After Van Crashes on Icy Road Near Worthington, Minn.

Four people suffered serious injuries, and 11 others are recovering from non-life threatening injuries after a van crashed near Worthington, Minn., early Thursday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Fifteen people, who work at a nearby meet packing plant, were in the van at the time of the crash. Thirteen people were ejected from the vehicle. 

The crash happened on westbound Interstate 90 when the van went out of control on the icy road, according to the State Patrol. The van went into the median and rolled.

The driver was identified as 29-year-old Altayeb Arbab-Azzein of Sioux Falls, who was wearing a seatbelt.

The following victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries:

32-year-old Mussa Alaaldeen of Sioux Falls

22-year-old Klaw Reh of Sioux Falls

52-year-old Talla Agra of Sioux Falls

28-year-old Bhandari Mekh of Sioux Falls

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash.
