Eden Prairie Man Killed in Crash on Highway 212
A 62-year-old Eden Prairie man has been identified as the driver killed in a crash Friday morning on eastbound Highway 212 in Eden Prairie.
A 2007 Chevy Malibu driven by Robert Bartee was westbound on Highway 212 when it crossed through the median hitting a 2011 Jeep, which was eastbound. The Jeep was driven by Joseph Tupman, 26, of Eden Prairie, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Bartee's vehicle also hit a Chevrolet truck in the eastbound lanes. Kathleen Seck, 73, of Carver, was identified as the driver of the truck. She was not injured.
According to the state patrol, Bartee was killed in the crash. Tupman suffered serious injuries.
