MN Landscaping Businesses Pass Pain at the Pump to Customers

Minnesota hit another record for the highest average gas prices ever.

It's sitting at $4.27 a gallon and that means a double whammy for Minnesota landscaping businesses.

From piles of spring snow that put yards weeks behind schedule to extreme sticker shock at the gas pump, these problems mean higher prices for customers.

This spring the owner of Hansen's Lawn Care in Woodbury is spending $250 a week on gas, $100 more then last year, so he raised prices by 5 to 10 percent.

KSTP checked with a some lawn care services around the cities and they told us they've raised prices $10 to $20 per cut because of high gas prices.
