Twins Lose After Rain Delay at Target Field
The Boston Red Sox beat the Minnesota Twins 5-1 Sunday for their fifth straight win.
The game was delayed in the seventh inning for three hours due to rain. The Red Sox were up 3-1 when the delay began.
During the three-hour delay fans were treated to a showing of 'The Sandlot' on the scoreboard.
The game resumed about 80 minutes after the film ended and many fans moved into the first eight rows behind the dugouts.
Meanwhile, a tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday for central and southern Minnesota, including the metro.
