Volunteers Make Repairs to Lakeville Horse Therapy Ranch

Riding a horse can be great therapy for veterans and kids with special needs.

A Lakeville riding center needed some repairs, and today more than 100 people are helping make improvements to Majestic Hills Ranch.

Some employees of Honeywell and some students from Robbinsdale Cooper High School are working side-by-side to create a safer, more enjoyable place for those who ride the horses here.

Majestic Hills offers horseback riding therapy for children with disabilities and military veterans... and it's free for veterans as long as they have a doctors note.

This is the largest volunteer turn-out for the ranch.

According to Majestic Hills, to get all this work done without volunteers would cost them between $15-16,000.
