Bloomington Man Recovering After Falling into 'Sinkhole'
A man is recovering after he fell into a sinkhole in Bloomington Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Commander Vic Poyer of Bloomington Police Department said the man fell about seven feet into the hole while he was on a walk with his wife and dogs.
The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of W 102nd St. and Scarborough Road.
The man injured his shoulder and eye, according to Poyer.
Public Works is investigating.
