E-Bingo Now Closely Watched as Funding Source for Vikes Stadium
Electronic pull tabs have not done so well and that means electronic bingo will be under a microscope of scrutiny.
E-bingo started two weeks ago and state officials say there are now 73 locations using it and they are all linked together statewide.
It is still too early to tell how the e-bingo game will do, but there is one place in St. Paul that tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the game has drawn some interest.
Sherwood's Lounge was one of the first spots to put in the new e-bingo machines.
Paulette Klinger runs the games and says there has been some interest in e-bingo because it is something new.
So far, Klinger says, people seem to like how the game works, but the jackpots are pretty small.
Klinger says when more games are linked in new locations across the state more people will play the game because there will be bigger jackpots.
