Officials: Arson Caused St. Paul Apartment Fire
Fire officials in St. Paul say arson is the cause of a Sunday morning apartment fire.
Firefighters were called shortly before 9 a.m. to the two-alarm fire on the 600 block of Portland Avenue.
Officials say fire alarms were working and no one was hurt.
The fire destroyed one apartment and smoke damaged four others, leaving them all uninhabitable. The cost of the damage is estimated to be $50,000.
