Firefighters responded around 6:30 a.m. Sunday after the fire broke out in the basement of a building at 4th Avenue and East Lake Street.
Three businesses are located on the first floor of the building and apartments are up above. Officials say the fire affected the businesses and the apartments, displacing 15 people.
No one was injured.
Yasir Mansour owns the Boost Mobile located in the building.
"It's a loss. It's a big loss," he said while going through the damage.
There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
