Report: Bad Roads Cause MN Drivers Nearly $1B in Repairs

A new report says Minnesota drivers are spending close to "a billion dollars" in repair work due to driving on bad roads.

The American Society of Civil Engineers says we spend $797,000,000 a year in vehicle repairs, that's $250 for every driver.

The report also says more than half of Minnesota's roads are in poor or mediocre condition. The Minnesota Department of Transportation doesn't believe that number is correct.

The report gave roads across America a grade of "D".
