Daylight Saving Could Impact Health
Many Minnesotans likely will lose an hour of sleep Sunday because of daylight saving time.
According to University of Minnesota neurology expert Michael Howell, the loss could impact your health.
He suggests taking low-dose melatonin about four hours before you want to go to sleep. The combination of melatonin in the evening, light in the morning helps reset your circadian rhythm.
Howell also said if you're tossing and turning in bed trying to sleep, just get out of bed and do something else. That means, you're not ready to sleep.
