EmailWinter Storm to Bring Rain, Snow This Weekend
Things could get a little messy this weekend with both rain and snow in the forecast.
KSTP.com Meteorologist Ken Barlow says we'll see periods of rain with a break at midday Saturday. Then, light snow is expected Saturday night into Sunday morning. The Twin Cities metro could get 1 to 2 inches of accumulation.
High temperatures will be in the upper 30s Saturday.
A winter storm warning has been issued for central and western Minnesota. A winter weather advisory has been issued for areas in southern and eastern Minnesota - including the Twin Cities - and western Wisconsin.
It will be cooler Sunday with a few snow showers early. Quiet weather returns Monday.
