Workshop Could Save Students Thousands of Dollars

College Assistance Plus Minnesota is holding a workshop Tuesday in Anoka for parents and high school students preparing to go to college.

The workshop is aimed at reducing the amount of debt students take on to fund their education. Recent data from the New York Federal Reserve reveals  nearly one third of those attempting to pay down college debt are at least 90 days past due.

College Assistance Plus Minnesota specializes in reducing tuition costs by thousands of dollars. The workshop will teach students and parents how to pick the right college, the tough questions to ask when negotiating student aid, and how to earn a degree with debt you can manage.

The workshop is at the Anoka-Hennepin Staff Development Center, 2727 N. Ferry Street Anoka, MN.

Additional workshops are planned. You can find dates and times here.
