EmailPolice Investigate Apparent Murder in Third Precinct
Minneapolis police are investigating an apparent murder in the Third Precinct.
Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Cedar Avenue around 4:30 a.m.
When officers arrived they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to HCMC where he died a short time later.
Police say no one is in custody. The identity of the victim has not been released yet.
Investigators from the Minneapolis Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for any leads. Anyone with information should call 612-642-TIPS (6477).
