Saturday Morning Apartment Fire in North Minneapolis

Crews rushed to the scene of a fire at an apartment complex in North Minneapolis Saturday morning.

Firefighters say ten people are in the hospital being treated for smoke inhalation and injuries from jumping out of windows of the two-story home.

Firefighters say the fire started in the basemenent around 5:45 Saturday morning.

25 people were inside the house which is broken up into eight different apartment units. Only one of which, we're told, has a working smoke detector.
