Search Continues for Missing Robbinsdale Man in Mexico

A Robbinsdale woman is getting more crews to help search for her missing husband in Mexico.

Nancy and Mark Stoneberg of Robbinsdale were on a surf vacation near Puerto Vallarta when Mark went missing.

Nancy tells KSTP Mark was bodysurfing in the ocean Tuesday around 5 p.m. when he was sucked under.

Nancy said authorities in Mexico initially seemed unwilling to help her, and she began working with the U.S. Embassy.

As of Wednesday night, Mexican police were helping in the search by searching miles of beaches.

The Mexican Navy is also assisting in the search with a search and rescue dive team.

Nancy said she is also waiting on planes and boats that were sent in to help find Mark.
