End of the Line for Bus Service in Forest Lake?

It may be the end of the line for bus service for one north metro community.

Talks are underway to possibly end bus service from Forest Lake to Saint Paul. Riders heading to Saint Paul wouldn't be able to board a bus at the Forest Lake Transit Center, instead they would have to drive to a park and ride in Lino Lakes which will open later this year.

Riders and Forest Lake city officials are upset over the possible change. Metro Transit tells us there have been discussions about cutting service to Forest Lake, but there are no immediate plans to change the route and they're monitoring ridership.
