Friends & Family Mourn Death of St. Paul Officer

Friends and family of fallen St. Paul police officer Josh Lynaugh gathered for his visitation Thursday afternoon.

Lynaugh died last week after he suffered a heart attack on the job while chasing a suspect.

The visitation is taking place at Mueller Parkway Chapel in St. Paul. It began at 3 and ended at 9 p.m.
  
Governor Dayton has also ordered flags fly at half-staff Friday for Lynaugh's funeral.

The funeral takes place at the Cathedral of St. Paul at 10 a.m. Friday.

Several St. Paul roads will be closed during the funeral. Summit Avenue will be closed between Western and Marshall, while Selby will be closed between Western and Summit Avenue and Dayton Avenue will be closed between Farmington and Summit.
    
Lynaugh was with the St. Paul Police Department for five years.
