School Leaders Discuss Concerns After Mpls. High School Fight

Minneapolis School leaders will address the the brawl that broke out last week at South High School.

A press conference will be held with parents and students of the High School to discuss safety, security, lack of support, and the alienation felt by the students within their own school.

The meeting is at 3:30 p.m.

The fight took place in the cafeteria during Thursday's lunch hour. Students say the fight was racially motivated.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is also calling on the school to take racial and religious tensions very seriously.
