White Bear Lake Fire Captain Arrested in Prostitution Sting

A White Bear Lake fire captain was arrested in a prostitution sting in St. Paul.

Twenty-six-year-old Joseph Reil was arrested Dec. 27 for soliciting a prostitute.

KSTP spoke with the White Bear Lake Fire Chief Tim Vadnais Wednesday afternoon. He says Reil is an excellent firefighter and is already seeking treatment as a result of this arrest.

He is still on the job. Vadnais says he is working with the city manager to see if they should, or need to, discipline Reil.
