Volunteers Needed to Help Count Homeless in Anoka County

Next week counties in Minnesota will try and count the homeless population across the state.

Volunteers will tally the number of men, women, and children living in shelters and on the street.

Anoka County needs volunteers to help get a count which is required to receive funding for state and federal homeless programs.

Last year more than 1,400 people in Anoka County were without a permanent home.

If you like to help out and volunteer next week Thursday.
