Wrong-Way Driver Dies in Coon Rapids Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says a wrong-way driver died in a crash in Coon Rapids.

Authorities say the truck was going east on the westbound side without its headlights on. It stopped in the middle of the road and was hit head-on by another truck. The driver who was going the wrong way died, according to the state patrol.

The crash closed down Highway 10 for more than two hours overnight around 11:30 p.m. It reopened around 2 a.m.

The crash is under investigation and names have not been released.
