Minn. Middle School Teacher Dies While Shoveling Snow

A popular teacher at New Prague Middle School died while shoveling snow.

According to the school's principal Tim Dittberner, 54-year-old Matt Shetka was found dead Sunday at his home.

In addition to teaching social studies, Shetka coached gymnastics and girl's golf.

He led the team to win several state championships for the school.

His wife is also a teacher in the school district.

An announcement about Shetka's death was made to staff and students Monday.
