Man Found Injured On Roadside Saturday Morning

Fridley police are investigating what happened to a man found critically injured on the side of a road.

The 23-year-old was found just before 3 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Hwy 65 and 73rd Ave.

He was taken to a hospital where authorities say it was determined his injuries did not match those he would have if he had been hit by a car.

Police are looking for a black 2007-2012 Cadillac Escalade with fresh rear end damage. 

Authorities say the driver of that vehicle is believed to be a black male about 5'8" with short hair.
