Bodies Discovered in N. Minneapolis Ruled Homicides
More details after two bodies were found just blocks apart in North Minneapolis.
Around 10 p.m. Sunday, police found a man dead in an alley near Dupont Avenue North and 39th Avenue. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified him as 22-year-old Gianni David Gossitt of Minneapolis. He died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
On Saturday night, police found a body in an alley at Girard Avenue North and 33rd, which is about seven blocks away. He has been identified as 41-year-old Kerry Scott of Hopkins. He died from multiple blunt force injuries.
Both deaths have been ruled homicide. Minneapolis police are investigating.
