Saturday was National Adoption Day, and in celebration, dozens of children across the metro were adopted in special ceremonies.
Yet more than 800 children across Minnesota still need a permanent, loving home.
One of those homes grew by five on Saturday, as Jamar Smith of Minneapolis adopted five siblings at once to keep them intact.
